Misys is to sell its general insurance broking systems business to private equity firm Montagu Private Equity for £182m in cash.
Misys said it expected the deal for its Misys General Insurance unit to be completed within the next three months, with proceeds from the deal used to repay debt.
Misys is in the process of restructuring its business and is selling off non-core activities to focus on its key areas of 'health and wealth'.
