MMA Insurance, an intermediary only insurer, has established a specialist technical underwriting unit within its operation as a dedicated technical referral point for brokers and intermediaries.
The unit will be piloted initially with selected brokers that have business volumes with MMA to justify the additional level of support.
MMA's commercial underwriting manager was responsible for setting up the unit.
Following the pilot period, MMA said it intended to make the service more widely available to its broker and intermediary business partners.
