Online trading portal Broker2Broker has received a boost with the addition of two new MMA product lines.

MMA, which joined the SME Insurance Services start-up in November 2006 with its shop product, is to offer commercial and residential property cover.

Paul Brierley, MMA head of business development, said: "Working with SME, we have been able to identify that brokers using B2Bi are increasingly looking for property cover and we are responding by providing them with access to our own competitive and comprehensive products in this area.

"B2Bi offers brokers a solution that enables them to respond to the changing dynamics of the market and compete more effectively. Equally, it has provided MMA with the platform to offer more competitive products and we are delighted to expand on our involvement."

Jason Gandy, joint managing director of Broker2Broker, said: "MMA's ongoing commitment to B2Bi is important to us and further evidence that we are offering brokers a real alternative trading solution. B2Bi seems to be just what brokers in the industry have been waiting for and as a result of the large number of enquiries we are receiving, we are recruiting a UK business development manager."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
