Mondial Assistance UK said it has invested in technology to help the hearing-impaired use its services more easily.
It said it had purchased TexBox, from Sensory Communications, to allow Minicom users to access its services.
The technology is compatible with mobile phone networks, allowing deaf users to call for emergency mobile assistance, said Mondial.
It said it was the first assistance company to provide such a service.
