Monument Insurance Brokers, the Lloyd's broking arm of the Primary Group, has appointed Andrew Moulton as Executive Chairman.
Moulton will take over from Ian Bond, who has moved to the Primary Group's Strategic Development team.
Monument hopes that Moulton's experience of the London and US insurance markets will help broaden their operations.
Moulton said: "I am delighted to be joining Monument and the Primary Group team.
"Although the current market conditions are difficult our objective is to ensure that Monument Insurance Brokers remain focused and driven to achieve clear and sustainable results with our customers needs foremost in our minds."
