Monument's managing director and four other senior executives at the LLoyd's broker have resigned
to join Arthur J Gallagher, Insurance Times has learnt.
Tim Smythe along with directors Pat McKay, Des O'Connor, Phillip Richardson, and technical manager Ashley Perkins
are understood to be joining the binding authority team at Gallagher Global Risks.
Sources said the move was part of Gallagher's "worldwide expansion" of the team.
Monument's parent Primary Group confirmed the resignations this morning.
Arthur J Gallagher declined to comment.
