Moody's confirms Converium financial strength rating

Moody's has confirmed the insurance financial strength ratings of Converium AG at Baa1 with a stable outlook.

Moody's said Converium successfully completed its capital increase by raising $400 million of new equity.

The action reduced the immediate downward pressure on the rating.
