Moody's has given an "excellent" rating to Lloyd's syndicate 2020 and upgraded the rating of syndicate 1007 to A-.
Wellington Underwriting Agencies (2020), one of the biggest syndicates in Lloyd's, received the Aa3 rating due to its diversified business, leading market position and management and underwriting skills.
"The rating also reflects the historical performance of the syndicate and the expectation that the syndicate will continue to outperform the market," Moody's said.
SVB Syndicates (1007) has had its rating upgraded from B+ above average to A- good to reflect its skilled team of underwriters, strong business franchise, lead capability and management controls.
