The company has identified the most common causes of motor claims.
According to the company, 13.92% of incidents related to a parked vehicle. 12.6% cpncerned a third party cutting across a driver's path. And 10.25% of claims were the result of a third party hitting a driver from behind.
Claimsplus director Mike Breeze said: "A major cause for concern was that over 10% of motor claims come from drivers hitting the rear of other vehicles.
"This demonstrates that many drivers disregard safe distances and drive too close to the car in front."
