Today, we look at Norwich City Council's call for insurance cover.
The council has released a tender notice inviting insurers to bid for its entire book of insurance contracts. It is understood that the combined value of the cover is around £2m.

Norwich City Council spokesman David Leckie said: "Our main insurers have refused to play fair. They told us months ago that they are going to drive up premiums this year. They admit that this will mean they lose our business, but they do not seem interested in large municipal risks."
A spokesman for the council's broker told Insurancetimes.co.uk that the contract is likely to go to a new insurer.
