Two insurance brokers are to be inducted on to the Music Managers Forum roll of honour at the forum's annual dinner this week.
Willie Robertson and Bob Taylor, of Robertson Taylor Insurance Brokers are the first people outside the music industry to receive this honour.
Robertson Taylor specialises in providing cover to the music industry.
In a joint statement Robertson and Taylor said: "2002 is our 25th anniversary year.
"To be recognised by both the insurance industry and the music industry, and in our anniversary year, is just beyond words especially as when we started the company 25 years ago we were told that we'd never make money from the music
business."
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
