At this week's meeting between MVRA, Zurich and the Zurich Repairer's Council, it was agreed that all 108 MVRA Centre of Excellence sites on the Zurich scheme will now receive a performance bonus of £1 per hour.
This move ends the uncertainty surrounding the awarding of the performance bonus under the terms of the new Zurich contract.
MVRA spokesman John Thompson commented: "Obviously this is good news for our members and we were pleased to be able to play a positive part in the pre-agreement negotiations."
"Zurich and MVRA continue to enjoy a close working relationship and, as the meeting showed, MVRA's continuing role as negotiator and arbiter is both relevant and valuable," he added.
