Network Data has signed a deal with Paymentshield to enable all its appointed representatives to place their business via Paymentshield's electronic submission system.

The deal means that appointed representatives with existing Paymentshield policies would continue to receive their monthly commissions, said Network Data.

Network Data said it would release a new version of its mortgageLink software in August, which will be FSA compliant and include Paymentshield's inertia system.

Network Data managing director Richard Griffiths, said: “We are very pleased to be dealing with a major insurance provider such as Paymentshield and its leading edge systems for electronic submission of proposals with same day on risk cover.”

Network Data said it was also in advanced discussions with a number of other major insurance providers to further increase its insurance panel.
