Paul Swain, chief executive of Catlin Underwriting Agencies, has been named as the new chairman of Lloyd's Community Programme (LCP). He takes over from Angus Sladen, formerly of Marlborough Underwriting Agency.
As part of the scheme, volunteers help pupils in the Tower Hamlets area with their literacy, numeracy, IT skills and individual development. Last year, over 450 volunteers from the Lloyd's Market helped Tower Hamlets pupils as part of LCP.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
