Allianz Global Risks UK announced the appointment of Doug Pennycuick as general manger this week.
Pennycuick was at Commercial Union for 29 years before joining Allianz as national broker and marketing executive in 1999.
He said: “Over the last 3 years we have made significant progress in both business turnaround and focusing on client relationship management. I now look forward to the challenges of leading Allianz Global Risks UK in a competitive market.”
