The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has appointed Ted Boucher as Group Manager, Insurance.
Boucher, who will be replacing Duncan Mackenzie, has 20 years' experience working at Norwich Union.
The FSCS chief executive, Suzanne McCarthy, commented:"Although we are sad to see Duncan leave, I am confident that Ted will be a real asset to FSCS and will continue the good work already begun."
Duncan Mackenzie is taking up a new position at Allianz Cornhill International.
