Sun sets on Royal % SunAlliance
Farewell to Royal & SunAlliance, greetings to RSA, as the insurer this week waves goodbye to its old brand name and ushers in its new look.
But RSA, which Royal & Sun hopes will not be seen as an acronym for Royal & Sun but as a brand in its own right, is not the only RSA out there.
There is of course the Republic of South Africa, and the Royal Society for the encouragement of arts, manufactures & commerce.
RSA is also an algorithm for public-key cryptography; and is the name of
film-maker extraordinaire Ridley Scott’s production company.
Oh yes, and an insurance company.
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
