Charlotte Capstick, head of Berryman Lace Mawer's (BLM) professional indemnity team, has succeeded Paul Taylor as the company's London senior partner.
BLM said Taylor would continue in his role as national senior partner and was stepping down from his London role to give him time to concentrate on the firm's national and international strategy.
The firm stressed the move was not a demotion for Taylor, although BLM has suffered in the rationalisation of insurance company panels and also seen the departure of a number of senior staff.
