Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA) has announced it will implement Audatex's automated repair assessment auditing tool AudaAudit across its approved repairer network. It says this will increase efficiency when estimating for and repairing vehicles - ultimately reducing customer waiting time.
This system will replace face-to-face dealings in many repair jobs. It automatically evaluates each of the vehicles against R&SA's own pre-established criteria and the repairer is notified of the outcome electronically.
It is expected this will speed up the repair process considerably.
R&SA's group motor engineers manager Trevor Davies, said: "Reviewing motor repair assessments can be a time-consuming and expensive business. It makes sense to automate the process, enabling our engineers to spend less time fire-fighting and more time working pro-actively with our approved repairers to improve our customer services."
