Heritage opens in Malta

Heritage Insurance Management (HIMM) formed two underwriting companies in Malta, Trinity Lane Insurance Co and Setanta Insurance Co. Both companies will be underwriting motor insurance and personal accident cover. Trinity Lane has entered the UK market and will be supported by a number of UK specialist brokers. The Malta operation will be supported by the Group’s Guernsey office, which acts for insurers and reinsurers in international markets.

GoCompare home prices

GoCompare.com is expected to go live with a home insurance comparison service on 1 September. The aggregator’s website already offers comparison services for private motor, travel and personal lines. Its competitors, including Moneysupermarket.com and Confused.com, offer home insurance comparison.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
