White label launch

Welsh broker Moorhouse has launched Moorhouse Brands, a white label package for own-brand commercial insurance products. Lyndon Wood, chairman of Moorhouse, said: “Arrangements like this are well known in personal lines, but for brands wanting to offer commercial insurance products there are surprisingly few comprehensive packages on offer.”

Quinn rating downgrade

Moody’s has downgraded its rating of Quinn Insurance from positive to stable, for business reasons. It has also withdrawn its Baa2 insurance financial strength rating for the insurer.

Fortis Legal Guard

Fortis has asked us to point out that its new Fortis Legal Guard product is a stand-alone product, available with any insurers' motor, household and commercial vehicle covers.
