Dean leaves Aquilo
Claims management company Aquilo has lost one of its key senior managers after the departure of Mike Dean, who was managing director of Aquilo Business Solutions. He is understood to have left the insurance services firm to pursue other interests including a move into property development.
1,100 applications to CMR
More than 1,100 applications have been submitted to the claims management regulator (CMR). Claims management companies and brokers which procure more than 25 claims a quarter needed to register with the regulator by 16 February. From April, those without authorisation will face being penalised by the CMR.
