​Acrisure hires head of construction to lead new specialist team

Acrisure London Wholesale has expanded into the construction market with the launch of a specialist team.

The team will be led by new appointee Tom Hester as senior vice president and head of construction.

Hester will start the role from 16 February and report to the firm’s managing director Tom Quy.

He will lead the build-out and strategic development of the construction offering, leveraging his market knowledge and expertise to establish a market presence.

Experience 

Bringing over 22 years of industry experience, Hester joins from Lockton, where he most recently served as partner and head of international construction.

Prior to that, he was head of builders’ risk in North America at Gallagher-owned Alesco and spent over a decade within the international construction team at JLT Specialty.
