Arch Insurance International has promoted Ed Short as its new head of digital.
In his newly created role, Short will be responsible for executing the insurer’s digital underwriting strategy, focusing on advancing the company’s digital capabilities across products, placement and partnerships.
He takes up the role effective immediately.
Hugh Sturgess, chief executive at Arch Insurance International, said: “The continued investment in Arch’s digital solutions is a natural response to a changing distribution landscape and evolving broker placement strategies.
“I’m excited to appoint Short to the role of head of digital as we build out our digital team, respond to the expanding needs of our brokers and deliver a digital ecosystem that sets us apart in the market.”
Experience
The appointee joined Arch in 2023 as its vice president for digital partners. Prior to that, he was UK sales director for AdvantageGo.
