‘This expansion of our board reflects the confidence our shareholders continue to place in the network,’ says chief executive
Broking business network Brokerslink has expanded its board of directors with the appointment of three new members.

Brokerslink – which operates under a shareholder-led governance framework – said the appointments reflected a “broadened” shareholder base following the completion of a private investment round in June.
Ágnes Bara, deputy chief executive at Hungary-based Hungarikum Insurance Broker, joins as a director of the board, as do Youness Rhallam, board member of Morocco’s Alpha Assurances, and Patrick Verlinden, chief executive at Belgian broker Van Dessel.
Meanwhile, José Manuel Fonseca was re-elected as president and chief executive of the board, while Gregory Allard, chief executive at Filhet-Allard, and Alexandra Littlejohn, executive vice president and senior managing director at Alliant Insurance Services, were elected as vice presidents.
The network said the new investment and appointments marked a period of growth across the organisation and the subsequent board appointments were “designed to represent the broadening ownership of the company and to bring a wider range of international market perspectives to its governance”.

Manuel Fonseca said: “I want to personally thank Leons, who chose to step back from our board after 12 years.
“Leons has been a fantastic colleague and a great part of Brokerslink’s development and I am glad that he remains part of our community. I look forward to his continued support as we take the company forward.”
He continued: “It is in that same spirit that I am pleased to welcome Bara, Rhallam and Verlinden, who were elected by our shareholders and who each bring genuine leadership and a strong understanding of their markets.
“This expansion of our board reflects the confidence our shareholders continue to place in the network and adds to the range of perspectives around the table as we keep building our international capabilities.”
