’To everyone across my SME and schemes teams, past and present, I’ll continue to be ridiculously proud of you and properly excited to see you continue to achieve great things,’ says head of eTrade and schemes trading

Nicki Crabb, head of eTrade and schemes trading at Covéa Insurance, is leaving the insurer after nine years.

Crabb was appointed in 2017 as schemes development manager before adopting her current role in 2025, in which she was responsible for overlooking the firm’s SME schemes and eTrading proposition.

In a LinkedIn post on 27 September 2026, Crabb said: ”I know I’m leaving my department in great hands with my friends. You’ve already promised me you’ll look after each other and the teams. I know you will.

”To everyone across my SME and schemes teams, past and present, I’ll continue to be ridiculously proud of you and properly excited to see you continue to achieve great things.”

Building relationships

Prior to this role, Crabb was a senior business developer at Allianz and account executive at Zurich.

Crabb continued: ”To my brokers, so many of you stopped being brokers a long time ago and became friends.

“The business matters, but those relationships mean so much more to me. Thank you for the support, laughs and friendship. You know who you are. I’ll be rooting for you all and I want to see Covéa continue to do brilliantly.”
