’This update reflects our continued drive to offer a seamless experience for our partners, customers and colleagues,’ says chief executive
Extracover Insurance Company has legally changed its name to its parent company name Zego Insurance.

The change seeks to bring the MGA and insurer together under one name and culture – removing confusion and reinforcing commitment to operating as a single, market-facing organisation.
Extracover was created by Zego in 2019 as a disruptor in commercial motor insurance.
It was also the first insurtech in the UK to be granted its own insurance licence.
Sten Saar, chief executive at Zego, said: “Zego stands for innovation, simplicity and transparency in insurance.
”This update reflects our continued drive to offer a seamless experience for our partners, customers and colleagues.”
