What was your insurance industry highlight of 2025?
The continued rise of entrepreneurial MGAs and independent brokers has been a standout. Their innovation, speed and client focus are pushing the whole sector to raise its game, particularly in a market dominated by consolidation. At a time when scale is swallowing choice, these agile, founder-led businesses are bringing fresh energy and genuine competition. It’s been exciting to be part of that momentum.
What is your Christmas message for your insurance colleagues?
Thank you. Ours is a people-powered industry and 2025 has proved again that it’s the grit, creativity and sheer dedication of insurance professionals that keeps businesses, communities and entire economies moving. Take the break you deserve. Appreciate the wins, big and small. And come back in 2026 ready to push the sector forward again. Better never stops.
What do you hope to find under the industry’s Christmas tree for 2026?
Greater freedom for talent to move, grow and innovate without the threat of legal crossfire. Our industry thrives when skilled people can take their ideas, energy and client focus wherever they can create the most value. If we want to serve clients better with speed, creativity and genuine competition, then reducing friction around mobility is one of the biggest gifts the market could give itself.
