Dave Connors, founder and chief executive at DistriBind, talks about his firm’s entry to the Business Partner of the Year category

1. Why did you put yourselves forward for the category?

I genuinely believe that DistriBind has earned its position in this category. DistriBind has a small, but mighty team of people at its core, who believe that industry expertise and providing an unprecedented service is essential in all of our partnerships – and the growth that we see from our clients solidifies this.

2. What do you think makes your entry stand out and why should you win the award?

What makes our entry stand out is our unwavering support from our clients, specifically Stefan Nadarajan, chief operating officer at Bridgehaven Insurance, who is always willing to provide a reference, testimonial and, on this occasion, to support us in the next stage of judging.

3. What would winning this award mean to you and your firm?

Winning this award would mean that our dedication, time and expertise gains recognition and that the industry can see that the partnerships that we build are strong, tangible and worthwhile.

DistriBind really is curing the insurance industry of its spreadsheet addiction.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
