Eight firms are competing for the Excellence in AI category at the Insurance Times Awards

Ahead of 2025’s Insurance Times Awards, scheduled to be held tomorrow on 3 December at Grosvenor House, London, Insurance Times can reveal that eight firms have been shortlisted for the Excellence in AI award.

This category sought to identify insurers, brokers, MGAs or suppliers that implemented AI in their businesses to either enhance their internal operations and efficiency, improve customer outcomes or both. 

Judges looked for a careful and considered implementation of AI that was introduced in line with set targets and goals to have a positive impact on the business and customers.

On the night of the Insurance Times Awards 2025, guests will be welcomed with a champagne reception and a three-course dinner.

There will be networking opportunities to celebrate best practice with peers and competitors alike in a friendly atmosphere.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
