Six firms are competing for the Specialist Insurer of the Year award at this year’s Insurance Times Awards

Ahead of Insurance Times’ annual industry awards event on 3 December 2025 at Grosvenor House, London, the six firms shortlisted for the Specialist Insurer of the Year award have been revealed.

This category aims to recognise insurers that have made an exceptional contribution in a specialist field.

Judges looked for insurers that demonstarted their products or initatives had improved a particular niche of the market and could support their case with customer testimonials, mutli-year metrics and a compelling story on the importance of their work.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
