The tie-up will provide users with access to the insurtechs car insurance service 

Insurtech Honcho has partnered with Personal Group – an employee benefits provider.

This will provide 475,000 workers across the UK with access to Honcho’s insurance service.

The insurtech’s car insurance service will be provided through Personal Group’s Hapi app which will open up access to car insurance policies from 19 different providers including Aviva, AXA, Ageas and Zurich.

Frank Speight, commercial director at Honcho, said: Through their Hapi app, hundreds of thousands of employees across the UK are already accessing great deals from all manner of providers, and we think it’s just right that they are now able to directly access the refreshing new world of honesty, transparency and fairness that honcho is bringing to car insurance. Welcome to our insurance revolution.”

It follows news of Honcho being in the final stages of its 2019-2020 capital investment raise £2.25m.

Financial well-being 

Personal Group was founded 35 years ago, over 600 organisations including Network Rail, DHL and Stagecoach use the Hapi app.
