His career in insurance spans nearly 30 years

PremFina has appointed Nick Elliman as its new director of client engagement.

He will lead the firm’s newly merged sales and marketing teams to engage with brokers, MGAs and clients, as well as hitting sales goals.

It is the third addition to PremFina’s senior management team this year following the appointment of Nij Saha as chief technology officer in October and David Wardle as chief operating officer in May.

Elliman said that it’s about “joining a journey of success”.

He said: “Having watched PremFina go from an idea to a serious industry contender in a very short period of time, I no longer wished to observe its growth as an outsider.”

Elliman has seven years of experience at Coversure Insurance where he initially oversaw a team which helped grow the business.

But in the last two years Elliman has worked as the firm’s head of franchise recruitment and acquisitions sourcing.

Previously he held a management position at Allianz, spent 12 years as head of sales and marketing at RBS Finsure and over a decade at RBS Insurance in three different roles including assistant agency manager.

PremFina’s chief executive Bundeep Singh Rangar, said: “Nick’s acumen, experience and pedigree is a blessing for the company.

“A well-wisher from afar since our inception, we’re thrilled to have him become part of the PremFina family.”

The firm is a UK-based premium finance company that supplies insurance brokers with funding lines and enables broker-funded and branded credit agreements.
