NIG and agricultural insurer FarmWeb have announced their first £20m in premium income this year.

NIG and agricultural insurer FarmWeb have celebrated their first £20m in premium income this year.

The announcement represents a milestone in the partnership between the two companies since NIG won the FarmWeb account this year.

To mark the occasion FarmWeb and NIG hosted a group of brokers and representatives from FarmWeb's clients at the Scottish Rugby Captains' Charity Dinner at the Caledonian Brewery in Edinburgh.

Over 250 Scottish business professionals attended the event alongside former Scottish captains such as Andy Irvine, Findlay Calder, David Sole and Andy Nicol.

FarmWeb's chairman George Gordon said: "FarmWeb and NIG are delighted with the success that our partnership has achieved and the considerable amount of progress made in such a short space of time.

"And we foresee many more opportunities for further developments in the future."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
