Insurer NIG has confirmed it will continue its support of Scottish rugby, by sponsoring the Scottish Thistles Sevens Development Team.
The NIG Scottish Thistles are set to compete in this year's Melrose Sevens on 12 April, and in the Amsterdam Sevens on 17 May.
NIG commercial division managing director Charles Earle said: "The commitment and enthusiasm that the NIG Scottish Thistles continue to display in an effort to improve themselves on the pitch is inspirational."
Team manager Roy Laidlaw said: "The Scottish Rugby Union is once again pleased to welcome NIG into our stable of sponsors and appreciates the vital role that the company plays in supporting and developing young talent in the game through the NIG Scottish Thistles."
