Analyst Fitch has warned that some insurers will be without reinsurance after Hurricane Frances.
Fitch said that the reinsurance protection purchased by some of the insurers only allowed for a single reinstatement and that after Hurricanes Charley and Frances, insurers would face huge exposures to any subsequent events.
