Lloyd's said it does not expect to suffer any significant loss from yesterday's bomb attacks on the HSBC offices and British Consulate in Istanbul, revealed a report.

The two explosions injured more than 400 people only five days after two coordinated attacks on synagogues in the Turkish city.

"We would not expect a significant loss to Lloyd's given the extent of the damage to the HSBC building," said a Lloyd's spokeswoman in the report.

She said damage to the building had been limited to the lower levels. She declined to give any details of the insurance cover on HSBC's offices, concluded the report.
