Norman Insurance has enhanced its Flagship travel product for the millennium without imposing any increase in rates.

The single-trip product is designed to be sold by intermediaries.

Brokers can use straightforward self-issue policy pads and high-quality marketing support, including brochures and leaflets, that come with the cover.

Ten days cover in Europe costs £16.40 including IPT, and has the added benefits of free protection for partners and dependent children under two years of age, (children under 19 enjoy a 50% discount). Excess for each family is no more than £60.

Other benefits are medical expenses cover up to £5 million, no age loadings for European holidays of less than 31 days and discounts for group applications.

Tony Wright, assistant general manager at Norman Insurance, said: "Our prices are lower than in 1998. We want to give our brokers a competitive product that beats the competition and attracts new business while giving existing customers the best possible value."
