Scottishpower has won a £6 million supply deal from Norwich Union.

The contract involves all of Norwich Union's electrical replacement work.

Norwich Union customers whose household goods have been stolen or damaged beyond economic repair or can choose an equivalent replacement at their nearest ScottishPower store.

Brian Doyle, commercial and contracts manager at ScottishPower, said: "This extension to our contract reflects the strength of our relationship with Norwich Union and our growing prominence in the insurance sector."

Rob Townsend, claims purchasing manager at Norwich Union, said: "We have been working with ScottishPower for the past three years on a smaller scale and because of the first class service we have received, we have decided to develop our relationship further."

ScottishPower is the UK's third largest domestic appliance retailer, selling various electrical goods and cooking appliances. It has 186 stores across the UK.
