A host of TV stars handed out awards marking the work of nationwide volunteers at the recent Norwich Union-sponsored Neighbourhood Watch Awards.

Hosted by GMTV news presenter, Penny Smith, the event celebrated winners in five categories.

The winners of this year's awards were as follows:
·Outstanding Achievement - Jugal Mehta, Neasden, London
·Urban Award - The Newton Futures Community Neighbourhood Watch Group, Leeds
·Rural Award - PC Paul Kerr on behalf of Lochaber Rural Watch, Stontian, Scotland
·Young Person's Award - Victoria Seal, Humberside
·Co-ordinator of the Year/National Winner - Joanne Stonier, Wolverhampton
·Lifetime Achievement Award - John Cox, Newport, Gwent

Among the stars presenting awards were The Bill's Graham Cole, Nina Hossain of BBC TV London News, and Det Chief Supt Jeremy Paine from BBC TV's Crimewatch.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
