Norwich Union has been chosen by Daimler Chrysler Services Insurance Solutions as its sole provider of motor insurance.
Daimler Chrysler, which is responsible for the branded motor insurance products for Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Jeep and Smart brands, currently operates a panel arrangement with four insurers, but Norwich Union will become the sole provider from 1 July 2004.
Graham Boffey, partnerships director at Norwich Union, said: “We're delighted to have won this five-year deal amid fierce competition.
“Norwich Union and Daimler Chrysler already have a good working relationship and we look forward to building on this and working closely to develop and expand the account.”
Martin Fehrmann, managing director at Daimler Chrysler Services Insurance Solutions, added: “With our aggressive targets it was essential that we chose a partner that understood the needs of our customers and which could deliver products that are innovative, competitive and tailored to our individual brands."
