A former Bradford & Bingley adviser has launched an online business and jobs listings service for brokers.
The new service called broker exchange provides a platform for brokers and IFAs who want to sell their business.
The service also enables advisers to advertise that they are looking to change jobs, and for brokerages to advertise current vacancies.
Site owner Sarah Ashman said: "Regulation, cost pressures, PI, lack of succession strategies, increased competition on the high street and Internet, depolarisation and a whole host of other factors seem to indicate a long period of consolidation ahead.
"Broker Exchange aims to help all intermediaries by widening their options - whether looking to sell, merge or grow through acquisition."
