Oval has acquired Beddis, the Birmingham-based commercial insurance broker and risk management consultant, for a mixture of cash and Oval shares, the company said.
Oval chief executive Phillip Hodson said the acquisition would strengthen the company's growth in Birmingham and it's “growing footprint" across the UK broking marketplace.
It said Beddis would continue to be run by its current chief executive Peter Beddis, who would also join Oval's board of directors.
