Corporate head Terry Moyes exits consolidator with ambitious new broker plans

Oval corporate managing director Terry Moyes has resigned to set up a new commercial insurance broker.

Moyes has quit to set up a multi-niche general insurance broker focusing on commercial, aviation and high net worth.

He will remain a shareholder of the Oval Group. His departure ends a six-year spell, during which he headed up the mid-corporate and corporate business, growing it by both by organic growth and acquisition.

Oval chief executive Philip Hodson said: “I regret to advise that Terry has decided to resign from Oval. He is hard working, talented and an asset to any business.

“He has been instrumental in our highly successful client service, retention and growth results. In his six years with the business he has made a significant contribution to the development of Oval and we wish him well in his new endeavours.”

 



The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
