Animal health insurance provider Petplan has teamed up with AIR MILES to reward owners who take out a new insurance policy for their pet.
People who take out a Petplan policy for a dog, cat or rabbit will receive 120 air miles.
Petplan highlighted the need for pet insurance, saying that more than a third of UK pets require veterinary treatment every year, with more people claiming on their pet insurance than any other form of insurance.
Petplan head of marketing David Keel said: "Pet insurance is one of the fastest growing areas in insurance as more and more people become aware of the potential costs of keeping animals. Veterinary fees and third party claims are just two of the potential financial pitfalls that can face pet owners.
"We wanted to reward our new customers for taking out a Petplan policy and so have teamed up with AIR MILES," he added.
