This appears to be the surprising finding of Find's latest traffic figures. The directory of UK financial websites' figures show that more people are searching for pet insurance on the internet than health.
For the seventh successive month clickthroughs to Pet Insurance providers have been higher than those to Health Insurance.
John Perceval, Managing Director of www.find.co.uk said: "The rising popularity of pet insurance is notable in the Insurance Centre. It is one of the fastest growing online markets.
"Although it would be wrong to draw the conclusion that we apparently care more for our pets more than our own health, the traffic for pet insurance on find.co.uk has risen by 250% since this section started in June 2001."
