Pinnacle Insurance's Quality Assured Awards (QAA) assessment centre has secured accreditation from the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI).
The assessment centre offers an on-line training package aimed at ensuring competence in the sale of insurance and related products.
The training programme, called 'Proficiency Solutions', will be offered to brokers at "minimal cost".
IMI business development manager Gavin Hall said: "In achieving QAA staus, Pinnacle has made clear its intent to develop the competence of those selling insurance products to meet the new legislation."
"This is a critical issue for the retail motor industry and our new partnership with Pinnacle will help to deliver key benefits to its staff and customers."
