Law firm Pinsent Curtis is merging with city-lawyers Biddle as part of its ongoing Chosen Market strategy which identified insurance as one of eight key areas for growth.
The new firm will be called Pinsent Curtis Biddle and propels it into the top 20 UK law firms with 157 partners, a total legal team of 518 and total staff nationally of 962.
Anson Game, head of Pinsent Curtis Insurance and Reinsurance group, said: “The merger with Biddle gives us greater critical mass in the City and will significantly add to our corporate expertise.
“This will accelerate the growth of our non-contentious insurance practice, which contributed to our strong recent showing in the Insider's Guide to Insurance 2001.”
