Premex Group has bought Howarth Medical Reporting Services.
The acquisition of Howarth takes Premex's caseload to 85,000. Premex is a medico-legal and rehabilitation supplier to the legal and insurance industries.
Premex chief executive, Dr Simon Margoliss, said: “Over the last 10 years, the industry has grown to the extent that Premex and others now provide most of the medical reports used, particularly in the Road Traffic Accident (RTA) market. Our sector has now matured and we believe that consolidation is not only desirable, but inevitable. This acquisition is the first for Premex, with more in the pipeline. Our whole team is excited by the prospect of being a clear market leader - helping us to bring further innovation and value to all parties in the personal injury sector.”
