Premium Credit has announced plans to expand into Europe and the US.

Sales and marketing director Simon Moran said the company planned to expand into Europe over the next six months, opening five offices, and it was also looking to open offices in the US by the end of the year.

The news follows several key appointments at the company.

Ger Shannon, formerly national sales manager for Close Premium Finance, has joined Premium Credit's Dublin office as general manager.

Former Singer & Friedlander assistant sales and marketing director Brian Farrington has been appointed new business manager, and James Manners, formerly national key account manager with Close Premium Finance will take control of all major accounts.

Moran said further key appointments would be announced in the coming months.
